Mount Albert runs along New North Road and up around the maunga, sitting between our two shops. Depending on the address and the day, your flowers may be arranged at Ponsonby or Mount Roskill — both are staffed by our own florists working to the same standard.

Both shops are workable from Mount Albert. Ponsonby has longer hours and trades seven days; Mount Roskill is closer to the southern end of the suburb. Pickup is free from either — choose your location in the shopping bag.

Which shop should I collect from?
Whichever suits your route. Ponsonby is open longer and seven days; Mount Roskill closes weekdays between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm.
Can you deliver to student accommodation?
Usually, if there is a reception or a working phone number for the recipient. Include both if you can.
Is same-day guaranteed?
No — it depends on flower stock and how full the day’s deliveries already are. Ordering earlier improves the odds considerably.
Can I add a card message?
Yes. You write it in your own words during ordering and we handwrite it.
Which shop your flowers come from
Mount Albert is long, and the two ends of it are closer to different shops. Addresses up near the maunga and towards Kingsland are usually easiest from Ponsonby; the southern end towards Wesley and the Mount Roskill boundary is closer to our Richardson Road shop. You do not need to work this out yourself — we route it based on the address and the day’s run — but it matters if you are collecting.
Ponsonby trades seven days with longer hours, so if you are collecting after work that is usually the one to choose. Mount Roskill closes on weekdays between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm, which catches people out.
Student and flatting addresses
With Unitec nearby, a fair number of Mount Albert deliveries go to flats and student accommodation. These are the addresses most likely to fail, for one reason: nobody is home during the day. Include a phone number for the recipient, and if the building has a reception or a manager’s office, say so. Where there is no reception and no phone number, a weekday delivery to a flat is a gamble.
Everyday flowers, not just occasions
A good share of what leaves our shops is not for an occasion at all — it is someone marking a hard week, a apology, or a Friday gesture. Those orders tend to be smaller and simpler, and there is nothing wrong with that. Bouquets start from $60.00 including GST, and Florist’s Choice at a modest budget usually gives you more flowers than a fixed design at the same price.
Can you deliver to Unitec?
To a staff office or department reception, yes. Include the building and department. Student residences depend on whether there is someone to receive them.

If the flowers have not left the shop, usually yes. Contact us as soon as you can.
