If the date genuinely matters, book ahead rather than relying on same-day. That is the honest advice rather than the one that sells more same-day orders.
Apartments, the interchange and LynnMall
New Lynn has more apartment and mixed-use buildings than most of our western suburbs, and they are where deliveries go wrong. Include the unit number, the building name, and any buzzer or intercom detail. A phone number for the recipient does more than everything else combined — with one, almost any building is workable; without one, a locked lobby is a dead end.
For LynnMall, deliveries go to the store itself, so give us the shop name and the recipient’s full name rather than a mall address.
What to expect from the flowers
Everything is arranged by hand on the day rather than pulled from pre-made stock. Because of that, a bouquet will closely resemble its photograph but not duplicate it stem for stem — flowers are seasonal, and if something is not at its best we substitute a similar bloom of equal or greater value while keeping the style, palette and value intact. If you would like to see it before it goes, ask for a photo when you order.
