Flower Delivery Auckland CBD
Auckland CBD is our most common business delivery, and the one where the details matter most. Between apartment towers with locked lobbies, office receptions, hotels and the university, the difference between a smooth delivery and a failed one is almost always the information on the order.
Same-day delivery to the city
Order before 1:00 p.m. and same-day delivery to Auckland Central may be available, subject to flower stock and delivery capacity. Check the address on our Auckland flower delivery page and confirm the fee in your shopping bag.
City deliveries are easiest between mid-morning and mid-afternoon. If flowers are going to an office, avoid sending them late in the day — a bouquet sitting at an empty reception desk overnight is not the result you paid for.
What to include on a CBD order
- The recipient’s full name, not just a first name
- The business or building name and floor or level
- The apartment number and any buzzer, concierge or access instruction
- A contact phone number for the recipient
For hotels, add the guest’s name as it appears on the booking and, if you know it, the check-in date. Concierge desks will hold flowers, but only if they can match them to a guest.
Choosing flowers for the city
For desks and receptions, a vase arrangement is more practical than a wrapped bouquet — nobody has to hunt for a vase. Browse the full range, or use Florist’s Choice to set a budget and let our florist build the best arrangement from the day’s freshest stock.
For work occasions specifically, congratulations flowers and thank you flowers are the usual choices. Roses and birthday flowers cover the personal ones.
Pickup instead
If you work in the city and live central, collecting from 133 Ponsonby Road is free and often faster than scheduling a delivery. Our Ponsonby shop is open seven days.

Auckland CBD flower delivery questions
Can you deliver to a CBD office reception?
Yes, and reception deliveries are usually the most reliable. Include the company name, floor and recipient’s full name.
Can you deliver to a city hotel?
Yes. Give us the guest name as booked and the hotel name. Most concierge desks will hold flowers for arriving guests.
What if the apartment lobby is locked?
Add a buzzer code or concierge instruction. If we cannot get in and cannot reach anyone, we will contact you to arrange the next step.
Can you deliver to a university address?
We can deliver to a staff office or department reception. Student accommodation depends on the building’s reception arrangements — include a phone number.
Is there a best time to send office flowers?
Mid-morning to mid-afternoon. Avoid Friday late afternoon unless you know the recipient will be there.
